Work: Sustain-Able 余 gets on Board Fluk Factory’s Eco-Tecture School!!
It is with pleasure that Sustain-Able 余, announces our support and involvement with Fluk Factory the School of Eco-tecture!
We will be on the School Board and involved in some future Mentorship programs to integrate Eco-Functionality, Aesthetics & Artistry!
Founded by a London-based CEO of a corporate architectural firm, involved in several Dubai towers including parts of the Paris Hilton Tower (though we won’t hold that against him!), is Mr Faran. Lodhi who set his eco-vision of a grander scale.
Originally based in London, Faran is now involved in a project in Pakistan, doing research & development to enable Sustainable low-cost housing built with traditional sourced and creative eco-sustainable materials. The Board of Trustee for this visionary school of architecture is so trans-global, it would be easier for me to list countries that are not represented. Sustain-able has committed to a future virtual mentorship programme to encourage more Women in the field of Eco-tecture for some of the grassroot projects like the current one in Pakistan. Future global Eco-tecture projects and Eco-tectural Designs will be posted here. Stayed tuned!

Our first Eco-site opening is on 26 February at 11:00 - 27 February at 06:00, 2011

Good for you. Why pay for boring news and indeed kill trees with books and newspapers when you can just use your smartphone or your computer to read whatever you want for free? Well done!
P.S Nothing annoys me more than people saying kids should use the library when most libraries are poor quality, out of date and asking people to settle for less than what they can get…just so people with poor quality education can get a job “Not helping” …while if you took the resources and give out cost effective free e-book readers to every child in school..then turn those buildings into innovation/culture centers and get rid of outdated libraries everyone would win-win!
