4 Gen Zzz :) ♥ Question: The Hunger Game…..did I like it?
So next time someone goes blah-blah to you about a Revolution and hey, riot……it is heroic like Katniss…..try to think about whether you want to BECOME The Hunger Game statistic? Remember the Statisitcs they read out in the beginning of the movie? The Most boring thing you can become in this world is just another Statistic, just another Casualty…..
in-joke: The Perfect Hong Kong Cantonese! lol.
We are the original people who invented the concept of The Corporation BUT remember WE are ALSO the First place to have a Community Chest in Asia that made sure we provided decent Schools, Education, Hospitals & Elderly Care to the poor, the refugees who came to us seeking political asylum from oppressive dictatorships! We don’t always get things right, but we gave it a good shot! There are problems in Hong kong, lets not pretend otherwise. But once upon a time, we took the money out of Confiscated EARNINGS from EXCESSIVE INSIDER TRADING, stupid bookies Race-fixing at Hong Kong Jockey Club and whenever we Get hold of the Tax evasion of Drug lords, we confiscate the lot (usually in Bars of Gold) and put it to build hospitals and stuff!!!!!! Why don’t we do this again and more of it?
In-Joke (updated 6/1/14: Pope condemns Pedophiles Priests!):10 things Catholic boys “could do” instead of bothering people online!
Learn to extract the good stuff like Song of Solomon from the crap stuff like the Inquisition and learn to stop being “sensationalist” with religion (for or against)…..Go with the Aesthetics and less with the rhetoric of what YOU think is the Aesthetics and stop harassing decent women like Amy Grant online! Grow the hell up!
The “Rape ME!” scandal! Lol. Stupidity is A Voluntary disease where death is the only cure!
Oh booohooo! Lets do another round of the DAILY MAIL song! Please don’t forget to do some “book burning ” on the way and you better start boycotting all songs about RAPE…starting with I don’t know Kurt Cobain’s “RAPE ME!” which is in fact not about RAPE in the lack of consent sense but about the way artists are treated in the world.
♥”Turning the Camera” (Professionals-Proteges Arts mentorship scheme!)
It was an extremely intense in-studio session…..and I recommend all post-modern empowered women should go through something like this at least once, if not more often, to Really see the Art & Artists in themselves reflected through “Turning the Camera” (Professionals in the Arts & 18+ Proteges mentorship scheme **** To be announced. Yes probably there will be Press about it…but we are in it for the ARTISTIC Integrity, not the Media hype. Thank you very much.)
Happy Valentine! Liked the Moët but I loved the Date@McKers! Lol.
Anyway just when I thought I’m immuned, I got to Mackers and saw these two on a pseudo-valentine outing. It was so freaking cute! They were just sitting there, talking shyly into their hands, staring at each other, over cups of coffee they are NOT drinking, with a really cheap box of chocolate on the table. I don’t know why the complete unpretentious, awkwardness of it just inspired me artistically. It just captured what Valentine 2012 was for me: Not about corporate sponsorship and lonely hearts but more about authentic feelings. When you “get real” about your feelings, even hideous McDonalds coffee and a £2.99 box of tacky chokies can be kinda “sweet”.
My other Art Studio is on the Greek islands! :)
The Greek islands: The Art & the Culture is a reflection of the sustainability of their island living. That is not to say, there is no pain or difficulties; life is simply not idyllic just because one is on the greek islands, but I am grateful to all my islander friends and neighbors for their abilities to make life slightly less difficult for me, who is only an occassional islander; yet I feel their sense of community & sense of fairness from oceans away.
The 12th Insight by James Redfield
INTUITING THE TWELFTH INSIGHT
What a human world. Look at it. At first glance, all we see is conflict, competition, and the old habit of demonizing those who seem to be opposed to our ideas: in order to make ourselves feel correct and more important.
Dita von Teese’s speakeasy club, London, 2011
Pay attention to the lyrics of “Zip”….it is all true! I for one, was spending some of the evening checking out the club and part of the evening reading “Leonardo da vinci’s complete notebook” with the Kindle feature in my smartphone! The cocktails were pretty delicious too!
Season’s Greetings Ice-skating@The Royal Pavillion, Brighton
Merry Christmas! I am usually more of a fan of the Real Taj Mahal in India than the “copy” at The Royal Pavillion in Brighton, but when it is all lite up for Ice-skating, it was really beautiful and magical. We had a wonderful time, even though we got rained out in the last 15mins so we ran inside for a mulled wine under those rolls of chandeliers instead.
