Helping Orphans Worldwide is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing hope, health and happiness to abused, abandoned and neglected children living in the deprived areas of the world. The goal of HOW is to assist in and develop long-term, self-sustaining programs that will have a positive impact within the communities of these children. HOW works directly with other non-profits, globally, and offers funding and volunteers to enhance established programs and to help create new ones.

I have to be honest and say 2012 is all about being “authentic” rather than trying to be perfect. But this does not mean we accept every bit of brain-farts that come out of the world. There are a lot of frustrated people around. Many of them have legitimate causes; some do not. Some are just angry because they are not getting their own way in life, out of a sense of Entitlement!

Sustainable Responsible Eco-tourism and Volunteering in Uganda

This was probably one of the best experiences of 2011 that the volunteers got to experience…. Becautiful moments all around our projects in Kabale and Lake Bunyonyi.

Because of you, this giving season, we’ve been able to spend and donate USD$50,000 in funds and in-kind on improving the lives of a thousand people around Uganda.

CCP Communist Rita Fan distorts ’64 massacre history (Hong kong)

Ding Zilin, the mother of a Tienanmen massacre victim, part of the Tienanmen Mothers for justice lobby group criticised the Beijing appointed un-democratically elected Rita Fan for her publically stated opinions regarding the Human rights violations in China surrounding the massacre of 4th June 1989 (commonly abbreviated to as 64 in chinese). Fan stated that the incident was “unfortunate accident”.
