Chet Baker: The Prince of Cool
Yes I know he was a total Dionysian Icon….lost in life-long drug habit and decadence. However I am also a big one for judging the Art for Art’s sake and Chet Baker was/is/always will be Extremely Gifted.

Gutenberg Project: Free E-book: The Age of Innocence by Edith Wharton
21st century Newlands….. they know I was not kidding when I jokingly said,”I know you are patriarchy personified and I know that is very attractive to many, it is just that I’m not that kind of a girl…” 🙂 But I love what Edith Wharton did with him.

Nick Cave: Abuse Not your Muse….or you will end up with one you have to kill. :)
Nick Cave went to Monash for his fine art….I took some art subjects there. I remember having a chat with a tutor ….about “Staying sane in the thralls of a Muse driven Creative process” and how not to turn yourself into an overworked zombie by remembering that there IS a Normal Life. His interview paraphrased the same advise.
Happy Easter! Eggs, eggs, Imperial Fabergé eggs and just normal overpriced chocolate ones!
In the beginning, these eggs were a very very fancy way of sending one another images of miniature Icons of Madonna and Child etc…but instead of coating it with paint or chocolate…they ended up going nuts on gold, diamonds and stuff….lol. Well the rest is just history, isn’t it? Happy Easter!
Eva Monley’s Kwaheri ♥ @Bafta Members Club + NL2B 2012 Bombed out Church Liverpool

Om Namah Shivaya x108: Maha Shivaratri @Pashupatinath Nepal.
Everyone who has been to Pashupathinath has seen the Burning ghat, the bodies being cremated in open fires …Sadhus in their traditional attires performing rites of Dionysian enchanted Revelry. My memory of Shivaratri is …. the sounds…Sitars under the Full Moon in the courtyard …all night in meditative revelry under the old tree.
