#UN Summit of the Future #SOTF #Peace #education zoom meeting!

It is Saturday night, I had an Urgent internal #UN Summit of the Future #SOTF #Peace #education zoom with 60 global #CSO s AND Amb. Mr. RAMU DAMODARAN, First Chief of the United Nations Academic Impact Initiative (2010-21), and Permanent Observer for the University for Peace to the United Nations. 🌎💙, hosted by Bircan Ünver at the Light Millennium project supported by UN Communications, about the Importance of Comprehensive Peace Education from Kindergarten to Higher Education!

The CONFLICT on our planet is DIRE and I would like to remind all of the vision for peace of the CORE #Nobelpeaceprize 1994 and 2022 laureates!!!

Various Art & Sustainability concepts were explored. Thank you for the #peacelight art was also shown, piano recitation AND His Excellency Damodaran recited his favorite Literary quotes about Peace and Education. The Panellists shared valuable insights for Peace and expressed the URGENT Need for Fact-based, modern, secular Education. In the meeting RELIABLE Fact based STEM education delivered via the digital , esp. for women in the Global South were especially emphasized.

Sadly I had to leave half way due to a prior commitment so missed the full panel but I look forward to reading the final summary.

P.S I would like to affirm the trend promoted by #UNwomen to show our Dr. and other academic acumen, as women, because we Must “Walk our Talk”, bypassing our own personal Modesty and set VISIBLE EXAMPLES for girls in future generations by being Visibly Educated Female Leaders combatting #ToxicAcademia that seek to diminish the accomplishments of women, esp POC women of the Global South in #Stem, in order to Realise #SDG4 & #SDG5 !
