Kel1st and Yu, offered $43K Sponsorship to Attend Art Masterclasses In Italy

Dear Readers

I want you to know this before the “word” gets around.

I got sponsored to go to Italy to continue experimenting with East-West Art fusion stuff with Kel1st!

I hesitated in announcing this because I am aware that there are many people around me going through health and other difficulties right now.

I was nervous that this may be a kind of bragging. So I took  a session with my dear friend and my executive Lifestyle coach, where she asked me,” What reasons would you have to share this? I would like to hear a heart response.”

I dug deep and said,” Because it makes people happy to hear about positive things. This is a dream-like opportunity. The universe is almost getting frustrated with asking me for so long saying,”Cecilia,  just tell us what you want!” Lol. Finally a decision came out because of some of the art dialogues with Kel1st. It was a co-created thing. I said something. He said something. Matters jumped across space/time and international time zones! It all happened! There is something wonderful and life-affirming about that! Our art makes people happier because they can reach further than what words can say! The universe wants us to “do our real jobs” in life and flow !”

So this is why I am sharing. 🙂

In Jan 2014, “Kel1st and Yu” was offered a sponsorship by an Australian Art dealer and very progressive Art Lover,  retired Founder of Gallery of The Australian Landscape, Ms. Linda. Catelan,  to the value of $43,000  for accommodations so we could take some  Masterclasses in Italy  by learning from their Antiquities school. 

I thank Linda for her generosity and her faith in our artistic visions! It is a life-long dream realised! 

The art school in question, very diplomatically and graciously offered us  the opportunity to attend Masterclasses in private with their experts in 13th century techniques. I thank them sincerely but will probably attend  “normal” specialist classes for One Month, with other professional artists from different parts of the world. I am not sure if Kel1st will be able to clear his schedule to attend for the entire duration of the Masterclasses but Live-streaming is an option. He said he is working hard on it. 🙂

The sponsorship was officially accepted  a week ago after 48 hrs of very genuine artistic consideration, with thanks to the sponsor. I assured Linda that we probably won’t spend to the Max. of the value offered because the Italian art school offered to help us find  comfortable flats in the old city near the school.

Her reaction was,” You just tell us what you need and I will tell my agent to book it. We are here for the art and for the artistic adventure! I am so excited to be a part of this with you!”

The Art school suggested that immersion may be easier if we are not just going to class every day from a 6 star luxury hotel suite! 🙂 I can respect that. 

 

I appreciate the wisdom of the Italian school in this matter and will do as the school suggested in order to maximise the experience :  “Ars Gratia Artis”, which is a Latin phrase loved by our generous sponsor meaning “Art for art’s sake“!

I know from past discussion with Kel1st that we both share this incredible artistic journey and vision.

   At any one moment some things are being born or expanding and other things are dying or contracting. In this dimension we learn to be with whatever is occurring. i am celebrating your great good fortune in this moment as I will empathize when life brings challenges…as it always does.
