My #Ukrainian God daughter is alive and well! #Ukraine War #Refugees in #Britain

The last time I saw this #Ukrainian girl was  by video chat with her Mom. They just came out of a night spent NOT sleeping inside a bomb shelter because of #Putinisawarcriminal unprovoked invasion of #Ukraine. She had heavy black circles under her eyes and stared blankly nodding into the screen….reaching out like I was Life-line to a “Normal world” where normal things happened e.g normal life like her Mom & Dad working in their cafe while she did her homework afterschool at one of the cafe’s table. Overnight, the cafe her parents spent 7years saving up for by working the European Mediterranean holidays season disappeared! Mom & Dad (never been in any fights in their lives) ended up learning to make Molotov using soda bottles to defend themselves HELPLESSLY against Russian Tanks who Blew up their cafe!

I am glad today she is safe & well in #Britain, going to school, wearing the M&S outfits I introduced her Mom to, during one of those calls from inside a Bomb Shelter! Can you imagine the Absurdity and Irony of me sending a bomb shelter of Ukrainians, photos from inside the M&S cafe, school uniforms and Children’s fashion ….WHILE they could hear Bombs above them?

Well that was ALL our Reality living the experience of #NobelPeacePrize2022 !

She is safe and well, going to school, seeing a child war trauma specialist! Many girl child like her did not survive the #humanrights abuse: they were tafficked, raped, tortured then killed. #warcrime

It will be Decades before Ukraine will have its own equivalent of the #Nuremberg trail.

This #migrant #war #refugee girl is a #survivor of #Putin ‘s human rights abuse and I am proud that All those whom I worked with in the #UN system…we were able to Safeguard one child from such abuse. I also appreciate the work of #Warchild ….it is impossible to name everyone here….

BUT I will NEVER forgive University of Warwick and Warwick Business School (at VC, Senate & Board level) FOR Bullying + ABUSING ME and other Cohorts who were safeguarding others by allowing their selfish, insular, corrupt and entitled Professors from politically Far Right countries to bully DOWN #UNEthics code AND try to force students to renounce #UN values at a time like THIS! Where are these academics getting their money from? China? Fossil Fuel Planet wreckers? Putin’s Arms dealers? One thing is for SURE, more than a few were NOT on the side of the Democratic values of the FREE World!

*** WE MUST STOP the Infiltrations of Undemocratic Authorian Values in our Western Univesities! We MUST safeguard the Democratic values of the FREE world so that girls like her will not be abused by Far right $$$$ and end up abused in #Rapechat and other toxic scandals when they attend Schools and Universities in the #FREEWorld! #Trust

P.S I have the permission from the girl’s parents to share this Small snippet of their lives because they want everyone to think about girls EXACTLY like their 10yrs old daughters who NEVER made it out alive!

She IS my god-daughter because when they were stuck in a bomb shelter and I had to tell her mom to sew copies of her birth certificates and medical records into her jacket, her Mom and I agreed that she is my god daughter and told others including some priests that were around, so that I can do EVERYTHING POSSIBLE to FIND HER if she was captured and trafficked! 😪

* This is not a joke. I and MANY other NGOs like Amnesty and UN, took meticulous records of girls like her!
