“高貴文雅，但無用 ” ; Classy but useless…

Literally it reads: “Noble & elegant, but without purpose”

Isn’t it interesting that being able to express oneself artistically; Free from mundane and COMMON mainstream opinions, is the deepest connection between Graffiti as an art form and the 6000 yrs old Chinese pictorial language. I find that  both elegant and profound. Once upon a time,  the great chinese calligraphers were just hanging around the Imperial Court being “Classy but useless!” (Said of their works by bureaucrats and illiterates alike)…..6000 years later every surname, everyword of the chinese language descended from their scribblings.

Followed by a short multimedia visual arts performance installation with Wearable art by Yu titled: FOR YOUR EYES ONLY..for Iprotest Arts Charity London 2012.( Musical arrangements by Ttai Morra, Maurizio Grandolini and Mauro Della Giovampaola )
