Source: Brain Wallace and friends from Huntington University:

As a student at M.U. in early 2000-2005 I was refused entry into a night club because of my hair (afro) and because I had on a FuBu dress shirt (it was actually part of a suit I purchased from JcPenny). Anyway, with the advice of a college professor friend (Prof. Philip Carter) I began to organize students and moved on that night club.

To see this issue still going on is pretty sad and is indicative of the levels of racism that still plague the city of Huntington, WV and Marshall University.

Do you think it ironic or racist that night clubs which play African-American dance music will refuse African-American men and some A.A. women entry? I think the later.
