Betta Kultcha and iProtest Art Preview! 12th April@historic 1836 Corn Exchange!
On the 12th April 2011, my concept sketches/ideas for an upcoming London iProtest exhibition was shown during intervals at Betta Kultcha as an Art show with light & music.
The images incorporated: Cecilia.W.Yu original artwork/photography, a graffiti fusion with artist A.J. Rammel, a photograph from artist Stéphane Grand (Future Fusion) and open-share protest images globally online.

Bettakultcha has been running and has enjoyed its biggest event yet. It runs on a simple premise:
* Anyone can do a presentation, but no sales pitches
* All presentations will only be 20 slides long
* Each slide will last only 15 seconds before it goes on the next one
* When five minutes finishes so does the presentation
And eclectic and diverse range of topics included Star Wars being a Mills and Boon novel to dementia, lists, Iceland and drag artists.

Information about upcoming “Secret location” iProtest in London, 2012….
Location: SECRET! Hello..!!!
The theme is “Creative Free speech” on a global scale.
The meaning of the iprotest logo is simply this: Worlds meet, worlds collide, sometimes clashes occur, sometimes oppression brings with it bloodshed (symbolised by the red), yello represents generosity, green represents conservation of our shared worlds. The scene may glow with an intensity of Amber but ultimately “Protest” is about glowing with one’s inner light.
“Peace” is an inevitable result when we focus on the Light rather than the darkness.

Learn a new foreign language. Make new friends. Read and Write in Traditional Chinese so ideas you come into contact with are not censored by big6 government. Respect others cultures. Dont talk loudly in Mandarin like some loudmouth Americans in foreign countries. Treat others like equals. Stop going “boohoo…me….me…me…”. Make new friends all over the world. Find out China is not the center of the universe. Have Fun. Be a kind human being. Have a great life!

Thank you for the good writeup. One of the talk was an amusement account of North Korea and tax evasion! Book in advance, it gets pretty full in some Betta Kultcha event!

Today, I went to the beachfront with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is completely off topic but I had to tell someone!
