Wabi Sabi Love – Going From Annoyed To Enjoyed with your Beloved

侘寂

By

Arielle Ford

International Bestselling Author, Pioneer in Personal Growth

Wabi Sabi is a japanese concept about finding the beauty & perfection in imperfection. We were all brought up on the Happy-ever-after. We are drawn to people who are catalyst for our growth. Most relationships have at least 9 irreconciliable differences. So can we try with the whole idea of “Wabi-Sabi”, a Japanese art aesthetic.

You cannot “wabi-sabi” your way out of  a relationship that has abuse or addiction. That need professional help. Get out of it. Couples who idealise their partner , expect the best from their partner, get it. That is changing you perception instead of changing your partner.

What about conflicts in ideals? Deep challenges like over the matter of Religion? If there’s children, what would most serve the child? Develop a generous heart: If one of you is willing to “hold that intention” of  being generous. Get unstuck in your heart. This can apply to any of your relationships in life. Practice wabi-sabi aesthetic on yourself, so you do not beat yourself up about Perfection.

e.g. I tried to be my physically perfect self and I achieved my gaol but I was sitting at a Club Med, thinking “Omg, there’s no one to tell. I work hard to be this perfect person and I got to all my goals and in reality, it did not make me any happier. There was a 20sec of “YES! I DID IT!” then my personality moved onto another fixation on perfection.” So it was nice to be able to say,”Okay, I will probably never work so hard as I did this year to make myself my ideal perfect self, but I got there and I can appreciate my own imperfection.” That is not the same as just “letting it all go and wanting the worst”. It is a question of perception, stop getting annoyed with yourself or others for being imperfect, just have some humour and say,”You are not going to change. I am going to stop asking you to. ”

Hail to Goddess Aphrodite .

Unleashing Your Unbreakable Spirit: Rising Above the Impossible

by Lisa Nichols

Bestselling Author of The Secret, Public Speaker, Coach, Breakthrough Specialist

Being a powerful woman means you are also tender and vulnerable in your own processes. What does unbreakable spirit mean?

When you know you are going to bounce back, you are not afraid to take a leap. The reality is, if you fell, you will just bounce back. I have not avoided issues, I just learn how to bounce back!  It is a very personal journey. It is about allow myself to have a greater level of success. I have exploded the blue-print I was given in life and I have to pack up and learn to go beyond that blue-print. Sometimes I look around and my life seems barely recognisable and I have to say: “Permission, permission, permission…to handle my breathe-taking reality and I don’t shrink.” Just to be transparent and give myself express Romantic love and stop being so busy and make myself available to love.

We all have a blue-print attached to our culture, gender and geographical origin. I teach my students to push pass their limiting belief. TAKE the BREAK THROUGH. How do I navigate to where I want to go to? What is the level of abundance you want to work with?

Loving to empower other people, to “play” and to encourage them to be more powerful in their own fields.  I teach because I want someone to walk beside me otherwise it can be very lonely to have a gift but live your success alone. Teach others to how to step into their most powerful voice ever, to be powerful, to share a story to inspire millions you will never meet; teach others with all the things you have struggled with that can be learnt in a community.

What do you suggest for people who have a gift and want to take that to the world? For years, I did not know what a million dollar proposal look like? When they started to give me the deals for my million bestsellers etc, so people don’t need to guess what it looks like. If you are just figuring the “how to”….you need to get some GPRS help to steer you.

Don’t have Pyhrric victory where the cost of the victory cost more than what is valuable in your life itself. Having a balance of your lifeplan with Relationship, Spirit, Health & Wellbeing is very important…put your work/business into your life plan, not the other way around. Your life is a scary place to dive into. Train yourself to be Accountable. Hold yourself Accountable for your life.  When you have a coach who holds you accountable to the woman you want to be. You find someone who hold you accountable to becoming that person. They will scare you. They will push your buttons. They will get on your nerve.

If you are willing to do it, you will become that person you want to be by letting that person Hold you accountable for your action. YOU have to be in Action for that champion to emerge. Someone must be willing to hold you accountable to your Greatness!  There is no way I can be the woman I am today without someone helping to show me the greatest part of myself and HOLDING me accountable!

With all the grind, the annoyance and the obstacles, the Diamond emerge.  You need your “Transparency” muscle, your determination muscle (look in the face of fear, not to be without it, but keep going), your understanding muscle ( go find something that develop your understanding; to recognise the gift that came wrapped in sandpaper, with thornes; if you will have the gift of tolerance, patience, grace etc…because you developed your understanding muscle!) Stop holding people hostage for the hurt & injury they caused you and your understanding muscle will be worked. People fail their way to success!

When you are willing to say and do something different, you are ready to have something different! I do a “to-done lists” I write as though what I set out is already done. Lets transform this planet with what we CHOOSE to be, rather than what we write, say or do!

The Power of Reemerging Myths of Durga

by

Laura Simms – Storyteller, Writer, and Humanitarian
China Galland – Author and Documentary Filmmaker

The story of Durga is a metaphor of human endeavours. Please see it that way instead of associating these mythologies from Institutionalised religion. We invite people to understand the Creation myth of Durga: Mother of the Universe, the Supreme Shakti, the Fort, the One who eliminates Suffering. We came across Kali and she emerged from Durga’s forehead.

The world was in chaos…..so begins the tale of Durga…….it is on the verge of destruction and the demons had sucked out all the minerals/wealth from the world. The world lived as slaves. There is a battle of the pantheon of the gods, the gods withdraw to the height of the HImalayas…..and the world was at war……..someone remembered the only one who can defeat the demons is the Goddess Durga!

Because the world entreated her, Durga rosed from the depth of the primordial sea. As she battled demons, everytime Durga Sighed a thousand female warriors sprung from the ground and fought for Durga…..

“Each time Durga “sighed”…a thousand female warriors sprung forth to fight on the primordial goddesses side to slay the demons that had enslaved the world…plunging it into warfare, chaos, famine & slavery.” These are forces within us, not just outside of us. ♥

The use of outrage & angar as an energy in the peace movement; there are a lot of things in the world to make us Angry HOWEVER to act out of rage is to pour Gaseline on the fire. Use this divine wrathful energy, this fierce compassion, with love; anything that does not help us grow will only defeat us. She had every skillful means to destroy that which needs to be destroyed but not just for the pure love of destruction from a place of angar. Transforming angar into fierce compassion ….e.g. I got back from the Congo and met with the female survivors of the genocides there. It is very important to “bow down” to this skillful means and not turn ourselves into the “victims of our very own angar & outrage at violence”.

This is a force that “DISARMS” the world….e.g. the use of that divine Joy in dance & music to overcome the trauma and atrocities of war in the Congo, was my way of learning to work with this Durga energy.

When she rejected the advances of the Head of demons and they persisted, Durga became so enraged that KALI came forth as the Destroyers of Worlds overcoming up to link up the blood of the fiercest of the demon lord and defeating him.

When Durga first manifested she seduced with her beauty, but she says to the most powerful Demon in the world who sought her hands in marriage,”If you are truly the most powerful, then show me your female self.”  The demon tried many different manifestations and they fought 20-30 battles until she pulled back his head of Buffalo and showed his essential self and drinks his blood. She transformed his blood into amrita (nectar).

The FEAR of Feminine RAGE is the ULTIMATE COMPASSION.

When entreated to RULE the World, Durga said,”I am not interested. But do not fear….if you will remember me and call on me,  I will return when there are demons to defeat…”

***Part of listening to a story is that on a cellular level, we become part of the luminous, radiance of these primordial mythologies.

Many of us in America are not taught about how slavery rages on today in our world in different forms. As a country we hit our teenage years and our Founders owned slaves and knew it was a tragic contradiction that they could not resolve within themselves. We have to acknowledge our founders had feet of clay. We have to attend to the root of the problem in this country, the theft & genocide, the dragging of those from Africa to build our world out of slave labour. We have to get past being overwhelmed and face this. We have not brought ourselves to have these Reconciliation process with our own history of racism & slavery.

If we do not open our heart and release the emotions, they become fixated like hardened bullets. We do this with our non-profit work and try to work with this Durga myth.

Winning the War WITHIN Woman

Elizabeth Debold – Bestselling Author, Women’s Development Specialist, Internationally Renowned Gender Researcher
Mary Adams – Spiritual Leader and Mentor, Senior Teacher of Evolutionary Enlightenment

I am that higher self that has been guiding me. Spirit is your own essence in your lifetime. You get aroused by your own purpose and to express your creativity and your supra-sexual co-creation. In supra-sexuality, the genius of one person joins with one for another; you get an Explosion of Creativity. If you are lucky, you find more than one other person to do that with.

If you let your evolutionary consciousness go through the Crisis of shifts & Birth…the “shifting”, on the other side of it there is a  new world. If we combine all our capabilities, we can shift towards Evolution; an evolution of life as oppose to war.  Our planet is growing up. We have never seen this. The mystic traditions is a way of concepting this, there is no reason to assume there is no such thing as a “universal human and a universal humanity”.

The existential movement was the “theatre of the absurd” as a reaction to the world wars and the mess of the century, it described the crisis. But there’s other new visions emerging that is a Different way, not nihilistic way, of describing what could be.

The future is abundant, there are more positive visions of how attitudes can change. Adjacent possible is like first there was the wheel invented; but once the wheel is invented then there’s all these other clear pathways like rollerskates, cars etc…etc…it is the long lists of possibilities whenever a new discovery is made…These “Adjacet possibles” are so extraordinary, it is possible to conceive of “NO SCARCITY IF WE WILL IT SO”.

We have the possibility of alternative currency evolving that develops as a result of our current Money system. We have to help one another to co-create together. e.g. Like healthcare; we have bio-technology and nano-technology….if you are 40 yrs old, you could scientifically have the chance to live forever scientifically (if you really want that? Lol.) . But if you have that, YOU WILL HAVE TO CHOOSE! This make some people angry, that choice. Evolution creates CHOICE, the more you evolve the more choices you are able to make.

The universe is responsive to request. There is a way to develop a Metaphysical intuition; physical preferences can evolve into a speciating. When we talk about this vision of birthing a universal human & humanity, it is co-created. I would ask that we co-create the most generous, option rich, diverse & extended capabilities that Humanity can achieve, instead of one that closes down possibilities?

We can choose to guide it, shape it, instead of just “let it happen by chance”. Stop Merging your genes, Merge your Genius!

Find your kindred spirit, find your co-creative social synergy on a large scale! The only way we can make a Shift is Synergistic Convergence!

Don’t be a social umbrella or compete, socially co-create. I would like to see hubs that connect to start experiencing members/organs of a new planetary culture. We have the opportunity to develop Synergistic Convergence as the basis of the Evolution towards a Synergistic Democracy. Synergistic Democracy facilities ways for people to find each other to “c o-create”

What do you want to create?

What do you need?

What do you want to share with others?

Let people form clusters to form matching needs and resources. It creates an energy of creativity; effective networking etc…

There is different people trying to come together for http://www.birth2012.com . People meeting in circles, needing to find one another in whatever way needed to co-create this vision.

Women into their 50s onward are the greatest pioneer.  If you can say YES to that life purpose, she is pregnant with herself. The BIG YES…that Authentic feminine self that has not been FULLY expressed.

Sacred Feminine for a Sustainable Future

Dr. Rev. Karen Tate – Author, Speaker, Radio Show Host

Her story is the other bit of the equation. Women have been devalued as leaders. Women have to fight old battles over contraceptions etc. Sacred feminine as archetype & ideal. Goddesses of social justice, leadership; they are not just here to oversees issues of fertility; its from a “womb to tomb” life journey and role models for women.

Sacred feminine is being harmed like rape as a weapon of war, economic, social, cultural & religious. Women face a lot of challenge. If there had been more balance in religion. One person’s myth is another’s religion and vice versa. Young girls from the Congo who are 12 and 13 are not allowed to abort the babies who had been raped by these military as a weapon of war. Then there’s laws that say a rapist won’t be prosecuted if they marry their rape victims, so you have young Teenage girls being forced to marry their rapist?

Hillary Clinton is actually pushing a lot on this issue. Jimmy Carter left his church because he felt religion prevented women from reaching their Full potential. We have to create win-win situation for women.

Goddess is about Diversity! You try to incorporate diversity, partnership instead of competitiveness and try to embrace everyone you touch. You embody the sacred feminine from your home to your voting booth. WALK YOUR TALK!

Deal with Equal pay, deal with equal healthcare and reproductive choices etc….

In the unconscious of the collective psyche, the goddess is an icon for Liberty and Freedom. Most cultures have Sacred Feminine manifesting as women who are embassador of the goddess, bringing her alive into our everyday world. How we make choices, how we do business especially!

Men can choose to shift their archetypes from Warrior to Protectors! There are women who are complicit in their own oppression, so Sacred feminine is NOT about Gender, it is about alignment of energy, there are men who may be MORE atuned to Sacred Feminine than women who do not want to examine how they oppress other women.

I have been married for 20 years to a wonderful husband, I will be working and he is the ones who  keep the house running, the clothes washed and the food on the table! That is him truly serving the Sacred Feminine; the Goddess way! Bless him and I am grateful to him for honoring that. Women should support one another. Put aside the competition and petty jealousy….WOMEN are the majority in the USA, please can we honour our Sacred feminine in how we make our choices and what we ask of our governments!

Succulence is PowerFULL

We have 100 countries represented and it is a good way to start : Where we take a deep breathe after being exhausted for me and for how I ended up being able to do so many projects without falling apart. 🙂 You don’t get to facilitate a conference like this with so many in the world without doing work on yourself. Give yourself time for yourself before you give yourself away to the world!

This is a no.1 issue for many women. Knowing who you are, knowing and being clear about your intentions and goals, so when I go into the world, I don’t think of defeat, I have done the work below the surface. I am clear that I am here to serve and I have to be responsible by first developing myself. This foundation is what enables us to seat in the seat that we are in in the world! You cannot be a global leader without first doing your own internal work.

You must WALK your TALK! I did not go out to create a product. I am a spiritual person, I am telling the story of what  I needed to do and let others have it. My feet does not hit the floor until I give myself time. If you wonder how a woman in her power can walk her talk…and how she can be so turned on within and all all levels.

Self identity, Value, Intention; be clear who you are. You are a global leader, with all men, they are sizing you up, they are challenging you: You know who you are. Then you can say : Bring it! I know who I am and I know what my calling is. I know what my value is. What is most important to you?

Adjust your level so that you can perform at a higher level. Intention is very important. Wake up in the morning with some intention to bring about a particular result. My standard is my faith and to bring excellence ; to leave a legacy. It is all about who you are.  This is all about aligning with how you need to serve. You will find what you would like to give out.

Level setting is what gets you to get you to focus on your whole self. Go to your Authentic self. Commit to yourself and willingness to get out of your own way to commit to something …to “go in”. It is what women bring into the world. Have all that connected to our internal soulful world.

Revealing the REAL you to attract the RIGHT Partner

April Beyer – Dating & Relationship Expert

Many people disconnect in a romantic situation and do not realise that instead of hiding, what they could be doing is to “let go of any idea of shame or embarassment about what you need and what you learn from a situation”. e.g. when I lost my job, I made a video where I really laid it open and I was nearly in tears as I expressed my feelings about the situation. My assistant saved it with the wrong setting and it went “Public”. My video went viral. I got so much feedbacks from it! I really was in tears when I made that video.

The world is used to soundbytes and polished performances. They are not used to people opening up and showing whatever we are that above all else we are human, vulnerable and we make mistakes.

In many meetings, I see how guys say they have this and that to give and more and more I see women willing to say,”This is what I want to get.”  Rarely do I see now men who come in and say, “I want this and that from the woman of my dreams.”

Dating is simply relating, no one expects you to be perfect. Don’t wait. There is no time to put your life on hold. If you are not willing to be the “Why” person….which can drive people crazy but many people don’t do it….but you don’t NEED online dating site, feel free to jump off, take a break and be curious about the millions and millions of moment you can engage with other human beings. Don’t reserve yourself for only certain people in your life, its like creating a “members only club”; its not compassionate nor enticing.

Where do I meet those marriage minded men? They are everywhere. Are you walking through life being an open book or so busy you miss it because you don’t notice it. I was taught to just talk to people instead of Waiting. A lot of women think just by hanging out being gorgeous and waiting, this will all work. Have the compassion that looks beyond just how you feel, it is as simple as to say,”Hi.” Speak first. Forget about the rules! We have done the evolution, we have nothing to prove, we just have to show yourselves. Take the pressure off the other person, be willing to have that “vulnerability hangover” where you allow yourselves the patience and the time to connect with people Openly. It is not judging people by what their faces are doing. These marriage minded men come to me and they go there were women I’m interested in but they all seemed really busy.

You can just be present. You don’t have to look for them. You can just be available (different to waiting) if they are around wanting to connect. It is about dropping the barrier if that is what you want. A man who laundry lists his accomplishment could be flapping his wings for you and just trying to say,”This is what I can do for you.” So guys, don’t laundry lists your accomplishments, it feels false for her and really NOT ZEN! Ladies, ask why these guys are giving you a diatribe of his accomplishment, maybe he just needs a “tap on his shoulder”…there may be more to him.

Question: I’m really naturally open and there are loads of guys asking me out and I need to know how to filter them all! Please give some advise?

Answer: Fantastic question! yes that is something a lot of women also experience. You are not doing him any favour if you can’t send clear signals. Be open and honest. “Bob, Steve, Jack….we don’t have that long-term chemistry but we don’t have a romantic connection.” Do not turn off your light. She is being herself 24/7, she just have to get better at EXPRESSING when she doesn’t feel it. She is NOT leaading anyone on, she is just being herself and that is absolutely 100% who she is!

Men get huffy and feel “led on”. The smart ones get bummed for 24 hrs, get upset and 24hrs later, they will try again. They move on and get over you. They always do. What really hurts them is the lie and the avoidance. A highly Empowered Men or Women do not play games, they deal directly with that person and they don’t hide.

Question: From Appolinaire, I am from a country where rape is used as a weapon of war, women’s heart are hurt and they just don’t want to fall in love. (Question from a Sustain-Able mentored partnership & a Director of iProtest working with human rights in the Congo).

Answer: This is abuse situation on a massive global scale. This is really hard. We need people that nurture and Love us. Start asking for things. Do small things that make you feel good. Don’t go to the major league, go to the minor league. Total nurturing. Ask people why you are loveable, have tea, write it down! Be reminded that you need to build a community. Expose it, don’t keep it in the dark. there is a huge healing space that needs to be created. There is a need to feel that you are valuable and repairing your own inner light! Their light is still bright. Help them to realise this with small things on a daily basis.

But ALSO give them the professional help. There is a UNICEF program called The City of Joy, it is founded by one of the women working intimately with IWS 2012. Please get in touch with them and consider their programme of professional healing for these women. http://drc.vday.org/city-of-joy

Thank you for asking this important and very deep & intelligent question.

*****Appolinaire Zugabe did a quick transcript of this seminar in French so that he could share it with the women in his country.

Organisatrice : Rev. Devaa Haley M.

So that made me follow the money. It has been made to seem so complicated. We are told we can’t possibly understand it and we are just suppose to hope they will do okay with it. They are not. The Centralised banking system and the connection between that and social justice; corporations depend on centralised bank. The way banks get their money is to get it through our deposit.  If we put in a $100, they can multiply it in a  Fractional reserve and x 10, so we are giving the bank $1000 worth of credit to “inflat”. This same system works with local banks also. We can learn to use this to our advantage and to move it into Local and ethical banks. You can force your bank to fund the things you want and start PULLING the strings!

Leverage the impact of “Fractional reserve”. Without our participation, their system can’t work.

We need to put an end to the Federal Reserve! Lincoln & Kennedy have both been assasinated everytime they went after the federal reserve. What happens with the money that the bank used to “multiply” your deposit?  When I put $1000 in the bank, $100 stays in the bank but $900 get loaned out by the bank! That is unethical when it is used oppressively to harm the world. The system is guaranteed to have people failing. There is someone who can print the money and when they get in cahoot with the corporation, in fact this is an interlocking, corrupt system.

What is of the greatest value is that the Federal reserve has failed and failed us; if it was a shop, we would not shop there. There are people who want to go after that! These are the strategies:

1) Elected official must be accountable to us and not have corporate funding through powerful corporate lobby groups.

2) Move your money to a local bank and unfund the problem; fund the solution.

This is the full movie of “Thrive”: link here

Note from the Film-maker: “I want to address the fact that some people feel the movie see it as “conspiracy theory” and I would like to emphasize as the film maker that we made this movie with the intent of saying: “Who do you want in charge?” I accept that it is controversial. There are people who resist it. People are also sharing it around the world for self-solution and if it is not the right thing for you, it is not the right thing for you. As the film maker I would say try to use it as a empowering tool. There is a lot of discussions happening around it. It is not always a bad thing but we are not political, we have insiders from all spectrum and we want to highlight the principles we advocate in the movie.”

Peace, Justice and Equality for Women:

Nobel Laureate Jody Williams and Lynne Twist in dialogue

Lynne Twist-Founder of the Soul of Money Institute, Co-Founder of The Pachamama Alliance, Consultant to the Nobel Women’s Initiative

Jody Williams – Noble Peace Prize Winner, Chair of the Nobel Women’s Initiative

We begin with a quote from Lynne Twist: If you really want to see what you care about, look at your cheque book.

Lynne Twist will explain a little about the Nobel Women Initiative: “I was in the right place at the right time when the Nobel women initiative was forming itself.  I was lucky to be invited to various Nobel Peace Prize winners from all over the world: Aung San Sui Kyi, Wangari Mathaai and the breakthrough of 3 women in one year! These women are so extraordinary, they have not come together and have gone beyond what is thinkable to work for peace and they came together under Jody’s leadership. I was lucky enough to be included and helping them to have the financial resources to do their work and helping with the strategies.”

Jody: We are lucky to have you. It was serendipity for us to have you.

The power of Nobel Prize highlights the issues that are hiddened. They are committed to shape the issues. They highlight the abuse of women: by their husbands, druglords, tortured in prison & war crimes etc. I want to underline the power of their voices and their courage; to go into the heart of darkness, to endanger themselves to meet with women that is hidden from our views.

Jody:  I never felt afraid. I felt that was the least I can do as a sister to other grassroot activists and to stand with them and understand what has happened. How they struggled. They faced death threats and threats against their kids. The kind of courage these women would have in the face of such awful things for a better world.

Lynne: e.g Iran Laureate who defended women in law against the Iatolah’s oppression of women. I asked her once and asked her : Are you ever exhausted in all the intensity of all this? She said, I don’ t have the right to be exhausted, I need to defend the rights of these women who have no rights in my own country.

Divaa: I am so glad all this is coming out more in the media but not enough, not specifically enough about mexico and honduras. But I am family with Congo where rape is used as a weapon of war…when you say to me that all this is going on in other places, I would like to hear more?

Jody: We don’t hear enough about Latin & central america because it has been seen as US’s backyard and it is not good business to talk about the violence in the US plant factories. They have been killed with complete impunity. Mother of one of the women who was “disappeared” and relatives, they formed groups…one of the mothers went to the front step of the major’s office, refused to be silent and was shot dead on the step to silence her! It is not clear what is going on, no one had been arrested. They were accused of being prostitutes and we were told they were mixed up in the drug trade etc…Hundreds and hundreds of them, no answers; Mexico has a hideously dirty record when it comes to Domestic policies. their Foreign policies are great, they were great on landmines etc…but when it comes to domestic policy; its dirty wars, domestic violence with impunity etc….same with Honduras….there is a very strong feminist organisation called Feminist in Resistence and they are systematically harassed and receiving death-threats. Her sister was kidnapped and her freedom had to be bought back. They wanted to scare her into stopping. You will find the same kind of things. We met with Mayan women who protested the mining industry in their country, raping the land/resources etc. 3 of the women had arrest warrants out against them for protesting. Wherever we went, it was one thing after another. Any woman who raised her head, they were ready to knock it off.

**** e.g. We are showing the people in power that the world is watching and if anything happens to some of these women, there will be consequences in the world.

Divaa: Nobel women’s initiative is about the launch in May. They can be early supporters who can turn the tide of history for women and girls worldwide. Jody Please tell us about it:Stop rape as an institutional tool of war ; a joint campaign by Nobel women.

Jody: We looked at the issue of impunity and the international court of justice with rape as a weapon of war. Every 2 years we get together (by invitations) and strategise. This last one came out with the idea of stopping Rape & Gender violence. There are amazing women organisations around the world who have been dealing with these issues in a powerful way. Their powers are magnified if they are willing to work with common cause. All that work will continue but when you bring women together from Burman, Ethnic areas etc….Central America etc and if we all work together and come together and lobby together and stand up for women (e.g US …if we are not raping them ourselves…hmm…) we can stop it. We have no illusion that it will be transformed overnight. I will not believe that if we work together, keep it in focus and keep pressuring government, we will make a difference. This is the first regional visit. We have 30 organisations that are the advisory committee in the world. We conspire together. We are trying to do this in different part of the world.

Lynne: We want to show that women everywhere suffer from rape in conflict. We do not use the word war but use conflict because it covers drug wars and other conflict situations. Wherever that is, women suffer from this.

Please come to our website: http://nobelwomensinitiative.org/international-campaign-to-stop-rape-and-gender-violence-in-conflict/

People try to get things too complex instead of just getting people who are already working on it to get on with it. Work with organisations who have obvious interests in the issue. The ones that want to join , want to join to work together. Campaigning for social change is pretty straightforward and simple.

e.g. A woman was gang-raped, she escaped, by the time she got back to the refugee camp, her husband divorced her (married a new woman straight away and she was left with the children after being gang-raped. In traditional cultures, a woman who has been raped is a shame to her husband, family and culture etc…

Divaa: If you rape enough women in this kind of situation, you can destroy the community. In the Congo, many of the women did not want to leave the hospital because after that they had no where to go….no support, caste out by their family and it broke my heart. At the same time, a lot of them were teenagers , raped violently and pregnant with a child by their rapists. They are mixed about wanting to love the child but hate the situation. They had no where to go. I am grateful for this campigns. We do not have the stomach sometimes to go into this situation but maybe we can do something with the dollars.

This is something that we can get behind with how we spend our money.

Lynne Twist: Thank you for having this summit to launch the campign to Stop rape as a tool of conflict. If we can get lots of women to see this campaign and try to help and try to community fund this…this campaign needs $50,000 US!

Jody: With $50K we can turn the dream of “Rape survivors network”…..

Divaa: Money is a representation of our love, what flows through universe, the biggest money who came with the right intention that even $10 can catalyst the energy & love into this campaign.

These Teleseminars are used to provide information, training, or promote or sell products to group of people interested in this particular topic. They are similar to traditional seminars, in content and purpose, but they are given over a teleconference or bridgeline rather than at a specific location…it is interesting to be a part of!

My own internet site is caramoantourpackage (dot) com
    thank you for this.

appreciation. Our group will definately reciprocate the goodwill. We work with fiscal reforms and know how difficult it has been for ordinary americans to deal with shortage until payday when things are so tough. Do you have ideas of what will help? We don’t want to just talk, we want to listen. Sometimes the nature of our business mean people don’t want to talk to us even if we help to advocate independent debt relief. People are terrified. Will you write about this?

I’m sorry for those who are not attending because they are missing a lot.

Wow, I can see Cecilia mentioned my question on how rape is considered as a new weapon of war, this issue needs a particular attention to every one, because together we can fight this fleau which is breaking Women’s freedon and dignity.
Well done Cecilia and Congratulations to the Laureate Jody Williams for Nobel Peace at the Inspiring Women Summit 2012.

I can live with those great ideas, what confuse me is in many online seminars like this, there is overly heavy moderating. Stifles the open trade of ideas on themes that by their very nature get emotionally charged. We’re all grow ups here, I think we can handle it.

When we put our forum together, we set up self-moderating groundrules, fyi: http://www.cigarpass.com/index.php/cigar-community-rules.html
    We know it works.
