Members of Voices of Women World.tv are cordially invited to the following event at the UN Plaza, New York, NY. Since my research into Sustainability as part of my MBA at Tsinghua and University of Surrey, it has been one of my life goal to bring awareness to the protection of the Cultural components of Sustainable Development as a safeguard to the negative aspects of Globalisation. Although I am unable to attend the conference in New York as I am busy attending a Film & TV pratical course for Film-makers until June 2018. However I hope this issue will continue in the media and eventually drown out the “noise” of regressive, unsustainable ignorant policies in countries where are there are dictators using Hate Crime as an excuse to further their own fossil fuel mining agendas. It seems to me, some of these conferences may have to move to “the other UN headquarters” if Trumpland continues to deny climate change and climate justice worldwide. I think of Nobel Peace Laureate Wangari Mathaai whom I had the honour of hosting at People’s Forum in Copenhagen during COP15. I hope all women around the world will continue to further her good work.
