Isreal and Palestine: Old Photos of Megiddo prison by Mohammad Alhaj

So the last few days… I was quite busy but also a bit worried about some of the people I know in Isreal and Palestine. I hope they are okay.

While the Governments of Isreal and Palestine bombed one another, we were all concerned for our friends in Isreal AND Palestine! I can’t get hold of Mohammad Alhaj but left him a message letting him know I would like to reblog his first photographs he ever took in 1999 about some Palestinian prisoners in Isreal. 🙂 I figured, being a consummate professional, if I hinted that I might (not that I will but that I might) violate his copyrights, he will show up to let me know he is alive and well, come hell or highwaters! 🙂 So I am putting these 4 images out and see how long it will take for him to respond!

hahhaha. It took him 3 hrs! hahhaa.

Cheer up Mohammad, notice I (c) every image and put a link to your website!

But seriously, I find your photographs beautiful and very sad…it is of course Very Artistic…it is just that …well, in..1999 Mohammad took these photos, and 2012, there’s still the same drama, it really makes me want to ask:

“Isreal and Palestine: Does History have to keep on repeating?  Can’t we try something different?”

It’s possible that Goodness is wanting in the united states. In order to reach only a few desired elite, many political systems abuse their users until people get together and make good choices! We could understand better how to instigate our own relieve by working together with individuals en masse?

From Cecilia: Possibly but I do not live in the USA so I don’t know…I understand it is really top-down but then again….the opposite is the dreadful totalitarianism of Communist and Nazi rhetorics as oppose to the Nutty lovers of Ayd Rand….actually i just think the world is insane and there is something to be said about achieving inner peace first by meditation on One’s own human conditions and ignore all the “isms” and the idiots trying to get you to Mass-fists so that they can sell you some t-shirts or a politician or another book of “isms”! Play smarter, not harder! 🙂 Goodluck, Damen!

I understand this type of prison is too expensive and garbage for solving the problems. I can’t stand the appearance, sound or simply feel of such places.
